DS Brothers

Certifications & Compliance

Trust, Backed by Documentation

In an industry built on high-value transactions, we believe every claim of quality or compliance should be verifiable. Here's exactly what stands behind ours.

Kimberley Process Certification

The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) is the international system that ensures diamonds are conflict-free before they cross borders. It is a legal requirement for cross-border diamond trade, not an optional marketing credential.

  • Every shipment we export is accompanied by the required Kimberley Process documentation.
  • We only source through channels consistent with KPCS requirements.
  • Buyers can request the relevant KP documentation for any order before finalizing purchase.

GJEPC Registration

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is the Indian government's nodal agency for the gem and jewellery export industry, and administers India's implementation of the Kimberley Process.

  • DS Brothers holds GJEPC membership and an active RCMC (Registration-cum-Membership Certificate).
  • This registration confirms our standing as a legitimate, compliant exporter under Indian trade law.
  • Details can be shared with buyers as part of standard due diligence.

Independent Grading Laboratories

We work with stones certified by internationally recognized independent grading laboratories. Independent certification means the grading of a stone's cut, color, clarity, and carat is verified by a third party — not just by us.

GIA

Gemological Institute of America — widely regarded as the industry's most stringent grading standard.

How to Verify Your Certificate

Every certified stone we export carries a unique report number. Before or after your purchase, you can independently verify it directly with the grading lab that issued it — we encourage every buyer to do this.

  1. 1Locate the report number printed on the certificate accompanying your stone.
  2. 2Visit the issuing lab's official report-check page (linked above).
  3. 3Enter the report number to confirm the stone's grading details match what was quoted.

Our Compliance Pledge

We will never knowingly export a stone outside Kimberley Process requirements, and we will always provide the documentation a buyer needs to verify what they're purchasing. If you'd like copies of our current GJEPC/RCMC registration or standard KP documentation before you order, just ask.
