Understanding the 4Cs
The four internationally recognized factors used to grade and price a diamond. Every certified stone we sell is graded against these standards by an independent laboratory.
Cut
How precisely a diamond is faceted, which determines its brilliance and fire.
Color
Graded on a scale from colorless to light yellow or brown — the less color, generally the higher the value.
Clarity
The presence, or absence, of internal and external characteristics visible under magnification.
Carat
The unit of measurement for a diamond's weight, not its physical size.
